Job description

The position is a full-time position. In the position of unit builder water technology, you are ultimately responsible for the assembly of our water technical units and managing young assemblers or interns. You can communicate well with the engineers who produce drawings for you and you can transfer your practical insights to them and to the other employees.

A summary of the main tasks

  • Execute the overall assembly process. From supplied drawing to a functioning unit
  • Possibly managing colleagues or suppliers on parts
  • Making decisions based on your knowledge and experience to make a unit work well
  • Working together with the project manager, water and electrical engineers
  • Indicating necessary quality improvements and taking appropriate actions accordingly
  • Good cooperation and communication with the team

Job requirements

  • Minimum MBO work and thinking level
  • Preferably welding experience
  • Preferably experience in water technology
  • Experience in working independently
  • Experience with project-based work
  • Knowledge of horticulture is preferred
  • Structured way of working
  • Able to think longer term
  • Ability to anticipate change
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Good command of the Dutch language
  • A proactive independent attitude
  • No-nonsense mentality
  • Driven and the ‘will’ to perform
