Engineer Water Technology

Job description

The position is a full-time position. In the position of water technology engineer, you will be responsible for the proper design and operation of greenhouse water systems. As an engineer, you will be involved from the start of a project up to the delivery of the drawings to the assembly department. It is essential that you work with your fellow water engineers and the project manager to deliver the best possible product for our client. Following this, it is important that there is good communication with the sales and purchasing employee and the other engineers.

A summary of the main tasks

  • Engineering the water installations for the purpose of the projects
  • Managing own work on budget, timeliness and quality
  • Communication with the other engineers and the project manager on the content and status of the project
  • Handling customer requirements in an efficient and high-quality manner
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments and product innovations in the horticultural industry
  • Be responsible for standardizing and optimizing designs
  • Working continuously to improve the quality of work
  • Collaborate and communicate well with the team

Job requirements

  • HBO working and thinking level
  • Knowledge of water technology
  • Work experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of the (technical) horticultural sector
  • Technical knowledge and insight
  • Good proficiency in Dutch and English languages
  • Enterprising, proactive and independent attitude
  • No-nonsense mentality
  • Driven and the ‘will’ to perform
  • Teamplayer
