Work planner electrical engineering
Job description
The position is a full-time position. The great thing about this position is that you can decide how it will be shaped. In the job of work planner, you are basically responsible for preparing an order up to the assembly of the product. That means you design the control diagrams of the switchboards for the electrical supplies we supply to the horticultural sector. How the position is further complemented is up to you. Depending on what suits you best, we will decide together whether you will be given an active role in the actual assembly of the switchgear cabinets you have designed, at Avant Projects’ site, or whether you will be given a role at the front end of the process because you prefer to be involved in preparing calculations. Both options are among the possibilities.
If you opt for assembly, you will also have the opportunity to commission your own project at customer sites, which is usually abroad. This is not a permanent part of the job, but an opportunity for someone with ambitions in the international field. We are currently working a lot with external parties for the actual commissioning of these facilities on site. If you have the ambition to commission your own project on site yourself, this is also part of the possibilities.
In short: We are looking for someone with a strong electrical engineering background and together with you we would like to discuss how the position will be shaped.

- Translating technical design into assembly
- Working in assembly
- Managing assembly colleagues
- Be commucation link between assembly and project manager, engineers and procurement
- Continuously improving the design and process from within
- On-site maintenance tasks in horticultural technology
Job requirements
- Minimum MBO work and thinking level
- Knowledge of electrical installations in horticulture
- Knowledge of electrical drawings and cable calculations
- At least 3 years’ work experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of the (technical) horticultural sector
- Technical knowledge and insight
- Good proficiency in Dutch and English languages
- Knowledge and mastery of packages such as SEE-electrical and/or Intelek
- Good social and communication skills
- An entrepreneurial, proactive and independent attitude
- No-nonsense mentality
- Driven and the ‘will’ to perform
- Teamplayer
