We take stock of the wishes of the grower, greenhouse builder,or turnkey project developer, map out the environmental factors and immerse ourselves in the crop and the greenhouse. After which, we can come up with a plan to create an optimum climate with the right dosage and coordination of water, electricity, lighting and temperature. In other words, a suitable irrigation system, heat system and electrical installation to regulate, measure and monitor the climate in the greenhouse.

Would you like to do the implementation of our climate systems yourself? That is also possible. After we are done with our engineering we forward the project to you. Complete with calculations, drawings, materials and product lists. Would you rather outsource the implementation to us? That’s also possible. Then we will develop, assemble and install the complete irrigation system, heating system and the complete electrical installation for you. We achieve this with our own experts and reliable cooperation partners.

A sustainable and efficient irrigation system

Een goed werkend irrigatiesysteem zorgt dat schoon water met gebalanceerde, teelt specifieke voeding op de juiste manier de plant bereikt. De juiste dosering water en de beste waterkwaliteit zijn daarbij van cruciaal belang. Wij bedenken en implementeren geautomatiseerde irrigatiesystemen, afgestemd op het gewas, de kas en de ambitie van de teler. Om water te zuiveren, te verwarmen en rond te pompen om het gewas te bewateren. Ook bedenken we slimme systemen om water op de vangen en op te slaan, om de continuïteit van bewatering te waarborgen. Efficiënte oplossingen die op verschillende manieren duurzaam zijn: wateropslag draagt bij aan de continuïteit van de groei van het gewas, is milieuvriendelijk en bespaart kosten op de lange termijn.

A sustainable and efficient irrigation system

A well-functioning irrigation system ensures that clean water with balanced, and cultivation-specific nutrition reaches the plant in the right way. The right dosage of water and the best water quality are crucial in this respect. We devise and implement automated irrigation systems attuned to the crop, the greenhouse, and the growers’ ambition to purify, heat and pump water around the crop. We also devise smart systems to collect and store water, in order to guarantee the continuity of irrigation. We create efficient solutions that are sustainable in various ways: water storage, for example, contributes to the continuity of the crop’s growth, is environmentally friendly and saves costs in the long term.

Temperature regulation in the greenhouse

Increasingly, our customers are asking us whether we also have the ability to regulate the temperature in the greenhouse. This is understandable, because heat is an essential element to creating the right climate in a greenhouse. And so we have expanded our existing services in water and electricity to include heat. With different types of heaters we create an optimal temperature in the greenhouse and heat water if it is too cold, so that it can be used directly for watering the crop. Heating installations are developed from the heat source. The type of installation depends on the environment. The temperature outside and the difference between summer and winter determines what is needed to create a constant temperature in the greenhouse. CO2 released in the boiler room is transported back into the greenhouse to stimulate the growth of the crop.

An optimal climate in a greenhouse is determined by temperature, radiation, moisture, watering, fertilisation and ventilation. At Avant Projects, we use efficient electrical installations to control the coordination of these elements. We bring the control and monitoring together in an advanced process computer. Together, the electrical installation and process computer are the heart of a horticultural company, in order to optimise the climate in the greenhouse. We undertake the engineering of the electrical installation ourselves. The development and setting up the process computer is carried out in liaison with expert partners.
